Healthcare Company Donates Water and Health Screening Tests to Community in Need
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY, February 2023 – Healthyr, a Louisville-based virtual health company donated 10,000 water bottles and 1,000 Healthyr Comprehensive Health Tests to those affected by the East Palestine train wreck.
“We watched as our neighbors in East Palestine, Ohio dealt with the fallout from the tragic train wreck and subsequent chemical release in their community,” said Stacey Finster, CEO of Healthyr. “We wanted to contribute in a meaningful way, in keeping with our mission to deliver valuable health insights and provide actionable interventions that drive positive patient health change and outcomes.”
Healthyr was launched in 2022 to provide health equity through accessible, affordable, virtual, and at-home health solutions.
The Healthyr team was on the ground with East Palestine residents handing out tests and water while walking the community through how to track their health in the coming months.
“We felt it was important to give residents a way to establish a baseline of health to track over the coming months,” said Finster. “Our Comprehensive Health Test is a first step towards that.”
The Healthyr Comprehensive Health test looks at 12 different biomarkers related to one's overall health, including lipids, blood sugar, hormones, and liver enzymes.
